2012年7月,學(xué)校成為CDIO國際合作組織正式成員。In July 2012, DNUI was admitted as a full member of CDIO, an international organization of engineering education.
2009年5月,舉行“大連東軟信息學(xué)院”揭牌儀式，向建設(shè)具有顯著行業(yè)特色和創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)教育特色的高水平應(yīng)用技術(shù)大學(xué)目標(biāo)又邁出重要一步。In May 2009, the inauguration ceremony of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was held, which was another important step toward the goal of becoming a high-level applied university with distinctive industrial characteristics, and innovative and entrepreneurial education.
2008年9月,經(jīng)教育部批準(zhǔn)，轉(zhuǎn)設(shè)為獨(dú)立設(shè)置的普通本科高?！筮B東軟信息學(xué)院，成為全國首批轉(zhuǎn)設(shè)的4所獨(dú)立學(xué)院之一。學(xué)校開始探索實(shí)施TOPCARES教育教學(xué)改革。In September 2008, approved by the Ministry of Education, Dalian Neusoft University of Information (DNUI) was transformed into an independent general undergraduate college, becoming one of the first four independent colleges in China. The school began to explore the implementation of TOPCARES education and teaching reform.
2006年6月,學(xué)校成為東北大學(xué)軟件工程碩士大連教學(xué)點(diǎn)，全流程開展工程碩士教育。In June 2006, as the Dalian teaching center of Northeastern University, the school started to offer the whole process education of Master of Software Engineering.
2005年9月, 學(xué)校《創(chuàng)新型IT職業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)模式的探索與實(shí)踐》獲得第五屆高等教育國家級教學(xué)成果一等獎(jiǎng)。In September 2005, “Exploration and Practice of Innovative IT Vocational Talent Cultivation Mode” won the First Prize of the Fifth National Teaching Achievements of Higher Education.
2004年4月，經(jīng)教育部批準(zhǔn)，成為東北大學(xué)獨(dú)立學(xué)院——東北大學(xué)東軟信息學(xué)院，開展全日制本科教育。In April 2004, approved by the Ministry of Education, Neusoft Institute of Information became an independent college of Northeastern University to provide full-time undergraduate education.
2001年7月，經(jīng)遼寧省政府批準(zhǔn)，大連東方信息技術(shù)研修學(xué)院轉(zhuǎn)制為大連東軟信息技術(shù)職業(yè)學(xué)院，開展高職?？平逃?001年9月，首批1500名學(xué)生入學(xué)。In July 2001, with the approval of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, Dalian Orient Institute of Information Technology was transformed into Dalian Neusoft Vocational College of Information Technology to carry out higher vocational education. In September 2001, the first 1,500 students were enrolled.
2000年6月,經(jīng)遼寧省教育廳批準(zhǔn)，成立大連東方信息技術(shù)研修學(xué)院，并成為東北大學(xué)網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育學(xué)院大連分院，開展網(wǎng)絡(luò)本科教育。In June 2000, approved by the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, Dalian Orient Institute of Information Technology was established and became the Online Education College of Northeastern University (Dalian) to carry out online undergraduate education.
